To all those who are waiting for Skate Shoes from MPora

I won back in January but to be honest I have not been all that optimistic about receiving my prize since they pulled the competition a while back.

Anyway I have just had a look at their forum and it would seem that the reason the comp was stopped was because their supplier let them down. Somebody from MPora has posted an apology and has stated that they are trying to find a new supplier and aim to have the prizes sent out by the end of the month.

Nice to know that they are going to make an effort to honour the wins (and get the comp up and running again by the looks of things) :T

Thanks for that poodledoodledoo, I won back in November and my DS was really disappointed when I told him they might not come. Here's hoping they'll fit, he's grown so much recently. If I hear anything from Mpora or they arrive, I'll post a message to let everyone know. Thanks again

Just been thinking about this today and found this thread! Thanks poodledoodledoo and wokkies. Looks like we are getting Vans! Woohoo! :T (Hope they come soon as I'm so stubborn - haven't bought any new trainers cos I knew I'd won these and mine are literally falling off my feet now and leaking really badly! :rotfl:

Great news! Vans have come forward and are going to cover all of the prizes. Apologies again for the problems around this competition. The guys here have a spreadsheet with everyone who has yet to receive a prize (with shoe size etc on it) and we will get that off to Vans so you can get the prizes asap.

And just to add to the good news (as it's Friday) Vans have offered to get the competition going again! So once we've sorted out everyone who is waiting for their prizes, we will restart the competition (hopefully in the next few weeks) so you guys can win more shoes!
