Painting plastic garden furniture

Is there an effective spray paint for white plastic garden furniture?
We have a white plastic table & chairs which can be quite dazzling in bright sunlight and I was wondering whether I could spray them a light green or a light brown to give them a wood-like finish.

Not 100% sure, but I would guess that it would be similar to painting upvc.
paingint upvc so it looks like there are primers out there that could be suitable, but you would have to check with them before buying any.0 -
Not sure if it would last? I would suggest that when plastic chairs flex the paint would crack and peel off."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

By the time you've paid for the paint, prepared the surface, watched the paint blister in sunlight, flake off in use, flake off in frost it ain't worth it.
If your furniture is in good condition and will clean up well why not sell it and put the money towards a new coloured set.0 -
