Canon NP 1010 error message

Hi everyone

Need some help. This is one for any photocopier whizzos out there. I've done the "Google thing" but nothing helpful turned up.

I have a Canon NP1010 photocopier. On switching it on this morning I was presented with an error message. The display is flashing "E2" then "10" at me alternately.

I'm guessing this means error E210 - something about the lens not being able to find it's "home location" on start up.

Thing is .... is my interpretation right and how do I fix it?

Any tips most welcome. I'm lost without a copier.

Many thanks.
