Monthly stock up shop arrived this morning - £76 but got £15 off it with a Tesco code. Bought a drill and some net curtain rods -£26! But this is all covered in my household food/odds and sods budget -I wait till today to buy the drill so I actually had the money so don't feel to bad, just need to shove the money over to my online savings account on monday morning so I can pay it when the CC bill comes next month.0

£4.85 in tesco for bread, milk, cereal, veggies and newspaper (and a lovely £2 coin in my change, yippee!)
62p on a pasty from greggs
£2.49 on 100 plastic wallets to file all the university work I've done lately
£19.80 on a t-shirt and jumper in Topshop (using student discount). Have bought no new clothes since November so this was budgetted for and long awaited!!
so £27.76, my biggest day's spend in some time but all within budget (even the pasty!!) so no guiltDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Well, OH and I went to visit his parents, arriving at lunchtime. But rather than having McDonalds or something in town, we went to theirs, had a free sandwich and somelovely chocolate! Then went into town to see the fair and only bought some sweets(which Mum-in-law treated us to!). Spent the rest of the time looking in mobile phone shops which took our time and picked up free magazines to read, granted there was only one subject, but still free! Only annoying thing was getting back to the multi-storey just 2 minutes into the 2nd hour, so had to pay £1.30 rather than 80p! But free evening in playing cards and then lovely family roast tomorrow. So a cheap weekend! :jOfficial DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

Nothing spent today – hooray. It’s was really nice in Kent today so was out in the garden…really sunny, dry, blustery, windy so put on some thick warm socks and two jerseys…my Really Ancient Gardening Jersey and on top of this I put my other… Really Ancient Gardening Jersey ...
.... Mainly tidying up, trimming bushes, perennials and shrubs – phew… interspersed with lots of tea breaks, really nice choccy biccys and some mini-browses on MSE….oh hum…
Gosh I’m now ravenously, starving hungry…could eat a horse and chase the rider…. not to sure what to make for tea so I will have a nice rummage in the freezer. There’s nothing like a nice rummage… hee hee -The £2 Coin Savers Club = £346.00 (£300.00 transferred to Savings a/c)

An update on yesterday first of all. Transferred £700 to my savings (£400 to ISA, taking it to its limit, and £300 to general savings pot). Also loaded a betting account with £21 to take advantages of a betting offer. Spent a whole £0.92 at Tesco's for crisps and chocolates, did enjoy them I have to admit. Last of all, spent £6.10 going to the pub with my mate (don't you love Wetherspoons?!).
On the incomings side I managed to get nearly a £1000 payrise in my job which is backdated to Oct (actually, to June, but only partially) - very pleased, it is what I deserve after all I've taken on there!
Today, £230 out in BT/cheques to cover rent and BB (live at home so very cheap). Other than that, nothing else. Good news this morning, I have a job interview in early March for a position that is closer to home and in a field that I want to pursue a career in. The money isn't great, but they are funding my study and it is a step in the right direction - so wish me luck (I'll keep you all updated).
Finally, will update my signature when everything clear, as not really sure where I am at the moment!Personal ISA Contributions Challenge - current £0 (as at 1 April 2014) / target £15,000 (deadline 31 Mar 2015)0 -
I have spent nothing today but as I work in a call centre I have helped others spend stupid amounts of money I am wondering if I should feel guilty but to be honest i don't as it helps me remeber what I used to be like.0

Admittedly we didn't have a weekly shop last week so we're replacing things from that but still £42!!
So much for my £30 weekly food budget
