March Grocery Challenge
Comments
-
Only just remember I haven't posted how we did!
Well, for our first month, we aimed to spend no more than £250 on grocery shopping and household stuff. That's for 2 adults. In the end we chucked petrol in it and the grand total for March is £331.89
Our greatest flaw is the 'top up' shops. Pop in for bread and milk and come out £25 lighter
Obviously we need to work harder at saving in April. Lots of stuff in the cupboards/freezer so hopefull, we'll use them up rather than spend lots on 'top ups'.
Aiming for £250 again - see how we go!
Good luck everyone :jLeason learnt :beer:0 -
Having Easter in this months challenge certainly makes it more of a "challenge" for most of us. Having the children home, daytrips, extra fuel, easter eggs-money,money,money.There again, as careful as I am with it, there is only ever one use for it-TO SPEND(carefully)Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0
