  • Shockwaves is pants!! My sis has boy hair so i know these things!! I only use VO5 atm while i'm trying to be cheap rather than Tigi Bed Head stuff that costs a bomb but smells gorgeous. AND I can buy it in Boots and get points. Gotta love the Boots points.
The cheapest you can get a guy haircut near me is like a fiver and i refuse to pay that every 4wks for my LO so my other lovely hairdresser friend does his most of the time, he calls her 'pretty lady' so she loves him, hes so smooth!!
  • i used to use that tigi stuff, your right it does smell really nice but costs a bomb. its really sticky aswell if i remember right, sounds like your l o is starting early haha. im chuffed that iv stayed in tonight, it feels good to be sat on my cash rather than !!!!ing it against a wall. especially with my job being temporary i need as much cash as poss as back up. when you startin work?
    Total in ISAs = £8,863.50
  • Got to be there for 11 oooh actually maybe its half 10 tonight, new Saturday thing, chocolate fountains/free bubbly/DJ that got told off last week for walking into the girls toilets.

I have this weird need to have at least £100 in my bank so anyone thats with me when i take money out is like 'you've got loads, you can so afford shoes/more drink/similar' when its only like £120 so to me is like £20, I suppose thats kinda like a back up even if it is just me being a bit strange and not wanting to look poor.

Just read what I wrote before...'while i'm trying to be cheap' I can't believe those words just came from me :o
  • haha theres nothing wrong with being careful with your money, im sure your not cheap! i like the idea of keeping so much in the bank to make it look like your minted, thats funny!

what was the dj doin going in the girls toilets is he some sort of male slag? haha
    Total in ISAs = £8,863.50
  • I'm not sure, i think hes just weird or showing off that he can walk around aimlessly and DJ at the same time. Hes a bit of a creep!

It's not funny, it's erm.. sensible. Again, another word I wouldn't usually use to describe myself but I'm ok with it.

Gutted, theres no hot water (boilers playing up since it was checked/serviced/whatever the other week) and i'd rather like a bath before work, hoping the button in the airing cupboard that i think makes hot water happen makes hot water
  • haha it should make hot water they usually do, i've just had a bath, i could get used to these weekends of relaxation instead of giving my body a hammering. Just think of all those pennies saved. that dj sounds really good at multi tasking, does he do his mixing from the lads toilets?!
    Total in ISAs = £8,863.50
  • Hmm.... whats relaxation?? i'm sure i used to know what that felt like.

Since I work Fri/Sat I usually go out on cheap nights so I don't get the chance to spend alot on partying anyway. I took a Sat off a few weeks ago and went out and was like 'whoa £2.90 for a drink, what the...' thats nearly 3 drinks on a Sunday!!

It's not my fault I don't know how to work the heating system stuff! It's normally after my baths that theres no hot water, not before :D
  • Hi all,

Spent most of today trying keep the monster away from my mothers day chocs and haven't spent any money so far...

Put another £7.59 in my internet saver account either towards my moving costs or driving test, whatever happens first.

    Anyway, i'm off for a mini-pampering session.

    Happy Mothers Day!!

Yummy mummy have you tried the over crowding at your parents house bit, to get a council house?
And with your little boy getting older i am sure there is something about "he cant share a bedroom with the opposite sex"

Also CUT THE BLOODY CREDIT CARDS UP NOW!!!!!
Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.
  • I used to have points for over crowding but when my sis moved out they took them off me :(

I love my credit cards though, there pretty. I'm trying to do it but I cant quite manage it. I changed all my saved online shopping details to my debit card rather than credit cards so i'm half way there on giving them up...
