With British Gas increasing prices by 25%, and others sure to follow, is now a good time to change suppliers?

But .... yesterday was the last day to get some capped rates, there's not many about.

BG are doing a capped rate, as advertised on TV but, it's capped at the March 1st rate said very quickly in a hushed tone akin to small print on a form

In my search for capped rates, at todays prices, I did find one or two Seeboard, London Energy and Powergen iirc although I wouldn't touch Powergen with a barge pole as I've said elsewhere.

if you use the link kindly provided above by alared and do decide to switch to powergen you will also receive 2000 (£20?) tesco clubcard points as well as saving tons by shedding bg!

Great link alared :T however I can't seem to get it to bring up any capped rates. Do you know if this is an option or not?

Cheers loopylass however, I'm looking to change from a standard tariff to a capped rate so that doesn't help.
