hi jellie - yeah the laundry is never ending.
Well my location for my job is now resolved but my references still aren't back. Very frustrating!
we have had lots of fun playing with the fire pit a couple of times this last week and the kids have had play dates so pretty low cost Easter holidays for us.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi
been catching up, glad the new job is sorting itself out.
References can be such a pain. My new job sent off for references and totally ignored whether I'd said they were professional or personal referees, meaning that ex colleague/manager/ from 20 years ago who is still a close friend got a standard form with punctuality, sickness record etc. there's no way he would know.
Some stuff is very 'new agey' and I just pick and choose the stuff I take in. I know someone who was into EFT, but is that something different?Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

hi Gill - don't know re EFT. with the job I just wish I could start - then I could be paid etc.
I wrote another blog yesterday and decided to post it at wordpress as well as on my own site. So I have now had 10 readers for my blog from yesterday - which is 3 more than I would have had if I hadn't posted it elsewhere. Shows it was worth doing. Twitter has only resulted in one hit so far on my website!
I am going out with a friend in a while for coffee and then need to come back and tidy up the place!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi
I ended up having coffee with one friend at my expense and then free lunch with another.
Redeemed £5 from bp
Paid the rest of DS's youth trip - £69 - reduced by at least £16 due to fund raising so will add that to sig.
I have packed the dishwasher but still plenty of other tidying to do....lol - I can't see that changing much in this lifetime LOL.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks Jellie
Well I have just done 30 minutes of exercise at the physio's. She is going to refer me for exercise on prescription although I have to have a blood test first and there may be a waiting list. Sounds good though - I am all for "free" gym sessions.... (apart from when it is time to actually go to them..... walks off whistling quietly)Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

The child concerned is okay but witnessed a hit and run today. Really cross about it as it was a school minibus driver that was responsible. He knocked a kid off his bike - and the bike and kid spun round. I confronted the driver at a school crossing and he still didn't stop to help! Have reported it to the school - waiting to see if the police contact me.
Some good news - I was concerned DD might not get in the same school as DS as he will have left by the time she goes there I think. But they have told me as long as he is still there the year we apply it should be okay. So that is a big relief!
Did a big shop last night for £75 - had over £11 in multibuy bargains... filled my freezer. Have just cooked a big spag bol - should be enough for another day too!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
