In the words of jOhn mcenroe - You cannot be serious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

OH picked up some motorbike boots. Apparently 'cos his new bike offers better leg protection he can have cheaper boots that don't have to withstand as much - so they were £90 instead of £120 :j I told OH he did it the right way round - telling me he expected them to be worse than they were. :p £30 saved compared to what I was expecting :money:Only us mse'rs could get so excited over that :j:j:j:j

Hi well yesterday I went out and bought some new xmas lights and decorations and a few more little bits of xmas.

Today it is back to the grindstone - so wish me luck! The house is looking tidier and more clothes have found their way back into drawers and cupboards but there is still more to do as ever....

Bye for now and have a good day all

Feeling really tired and a bit down today! DS has called OH out of work! Can't seem to win at the mo for kids illness!

At least today is half over which has got to be good! Everyone seems to be under the weather or down at work which is a bit catching! Hard to insulate yourself from that level of negativity!!

Spent a bit more than I intended at the weekend but I think we will be okay... just a bit annoyed with myself!

I asked a friend yesterday whether we could go out Friday but she thinks she may be too busy which is also sad as really Friday is tho only realistic day we could go out given my current schedule!

I also need to contact my family and agree when we are seeing who at christmas - that is always fairly fraught!

Aww SH, hope your feeling a little brighter soon :) Soon be Christmas :D (Although if your anything like me, the only reason I look forward to Christmas is to get it out of the way for another year :))

I'm either lucky or unlucky, depending on how you look at it, living up here so far away from my family I don't really get to see anyone for Christmas as they are unable to get up here and I can't get down there, while for my immediate family (Mum, Dad, Sis & BIL) it's a bit of a bu88er, but to be this far away from my nagging gran it's a godsend :D Hoping DH will be home for Christmas but don't think he will be for New Year :o

    Hope DS is ok

Hi SH - just read your post. Sorry to hear your feeling tired and a bit down today. I hope your DS feels better soon too. I know what you mean about negativity at work being catching - it's just takes one person to be in the doldrums and it becomes contagious! I think the time of year and the weather can be partly to blame also - then we beat ourselves up more about little things when we are feeling a bit low, we make mountains out of molehills. I know the feeling exactly and just when you think things can't get any worse, you pick yourself up and press forward again making more progress. Good luck with the Christmas arrangements, we got ours sorted this week and are spending it at home with just the 4 of us this year. Take care, tomorrow's another day and remember how far you have come already!

Hi Twinkle and Lucielle - thanks for posting... Just nice to have somewhere to vent! Trying to be all positive at work!

OH's motorbike jacket arrived today - its lovely and really hi vis! So he can now be warm and dry. He was putting a raincoat underneath his motorbike jacket to reduce the wet getting thro before! This one is more fitted too so he's not allowed to put on weight! It is very slimming on.

I got a shiny green bubblewrap parcel today - with 3 free samples of fairy platinum - it was lovely! I got pink lip gloss from rimmel last week! The freebie board is good - altho in this case I waited weeks for the items!
