patio flags

Can anyone give me some advice about my flags they need the filler between them replaced, think in it may be concrete.

Is it better to have the whole lot refilled by a flagger or do I chip out loose bits and refill?

Thanks

I did mine last year. I got some quick dry cement from B&Q about £3 and did it myself. You have to be quick though as it dries quickly so only do small areas and brush off residue on the flags

Going to do mine Saturday , will use a fairly dry mix , but will use a pointing trowel.
hoping for a sunny day. Will make myself comfortable, I spent the last 2 days relaying 24 very large flag stones.

Mine also need doing so thanks for the tip above.

Have to say, I'm a bix anxious about doing them because I'm not a DIYer and am far better at cooking and sewing. However needs must and all that.

With the quick drying cement, I'm guessing there are clear instructions on how to use it?

There is no reason to use quick drying cement, why put your self under the pressure to do the job quickly.

you can also use a very dry mix on a damp day (not raining). the dampness will set the cement. it makes the job very easy as you just brush the mix into the joints.
you can also use nothing at all.
and just weed between the gaps every year, or use a weedkiller. (twice a year maybe).
    Get some gorm.
