i dont want to sound like a dunder head but how do u do it in safe mode

nope, nothing, doesnt work, wont come on in safe mode0
-
shut it down unexpectedly, pull out the power, remove battery if laptop.
restart windows, it should give you the windows shut down unexpectedly screen with the option to continue loading windows or load in safe mode.
load in safe mode and then try a system restore0 -
im not on a lap top but i do know where to find the battery, i m a little concerned in doing this, wot is safe mode, how would this rectify the problem0
-
if it's not a laptop it won't have a battery (apart from the motherboard cell, i don't mean that one)
sometimes a resore point is corrupted and windows won't allow any restore unless its in safe mode. i think it's worth a try, and if you have XP its totally reversable if it doesn't solve you problem.0 -
if i get it into safe mode which do i go to
safe mode
" " with networking
" " with command promp
and then wot do u do0 -
Safe Mode. Then just do a Sys Res as you would in normal mode. The desktop will look a little strange, but you should still be able to navigate to Sys Restore. No free lunch, and no free laptop
