Hi everybody.
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.
If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
Kind wishes
P

they can change the face of the world.

Well vicar - I suppose that if you keep saying it often enough you are bound to be right one day - and I think that today might just be your day. :T :T
I am about to mend the punctures in my bike as I intend to fill this afternoon's 'Void' with a quiet ride around the local Country Park and Canal Towpath. :j :j
Just, please, don't change your synopsis. :rolleyes:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

there are lots of signs saying 'nudists may be seen after this point'
You seem to be quite an expert on this, H, so perhaps you can answer the following questions:
Do they say what the best time for sightings is?
Have Dorset County Council introduced a charge for 'voyeurs' yet?
Do you think my bike will be strong enough for me to 'Cycle' to the beach at Studland - it's about 45 miles?
Only joking, H - it's good to see that you are so well informed. :rotfl: :rotfl:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

I holiday there every year rog and yes you can ride your bike along the beach as long as you don't mind getting your tyres wet:D The naturist part of the beach is the bit that is less crowded and the sea isnt full of seaweed:eek: The National Trust have a van on the beach selling sandwiches and ice cream (silly money) so there is this chap who whizzes along in his Rib with a large Walls flag and silly tunes and he moors just off the beach - the water will be knee deep at most and you can go and buy an icecream from him.
The sun was out this morning but its now clouded over and I am suffering badly with hayfever (might need to go to the docs for some super strength antihistamines) - I can't do my mystery shop either because The Bullring is closed for a third day:rolleyes:0 -
