what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

A "Morning all" bump.

Only a guess but maybe Numpty just needs a bit of a break to settle his mind after the redundancy. For sure he knows he has real friends here - and that his friends are here for him. It's a reflection of the friend he has been to many on these boards.

Good things do happen despite the problems we may each encounter and having true friends is beyond value in the good times but especially in the bad times.

Its nearly afternoon and I have returned from standing outside local college getting signatures on a petition - it was thoroughly depressing to see and listen to the yoof of today:rolleyes: Bus broke down and I was late arriving at the college too which didnt help - I walked about a mile and a half to the college as I couldnt be bothered to wait for another bus:rolleyes: Got a lift back though which has helped.

I think Numpty needs to lick his wounds for a while but feel sure that he will be back.

clio - I've been pounding the streets this morning & have a therapy session this afternoon, followed by some regular work & a trip to the library , feeling exhausted just thinking about it.

Cant wait to quit the street pounding, it's exacerbated some old sporting injuries
