Have a good day Numpty.
Not long got up (went to bed extremely early this morning:eek:) and its raining:rolleyes: I shall wait until it eases so that I can go and buy my newspaper otherwise I shall be forced to buy one every day for the tv pages:rolleyes:0 -
Morning all,
was woken by rain at some uncivilized hour, then had coffee & read my book in bed .... weekends are just fab
I've optimistically put washing out, have to drop DD off at friends then will either walk in woods, do more gardening ( hoping for Gnomes H) or lounge on sofa & read my book, depending on weather ...
hope all enjoying day

Morning Lula
Sunny spells here at the mo so I was able to escape to the corner shop to buy a peper (no need to get one for the rest of the week now:j) and I got some milk. Wished I had a bucket of water to chuck over some dogs as I was about to walk into the shop because one was humping the other and looking very pleased with himself:eek:
I have started to have a tidy up and planning what I am going to have for dinner tonight and tomorrow - with a note to self not to overcook the purple sprouting because it will stink:eek:
Glad you liked the gnome Lula - I thought it was just a birthday card and then I found I could have it reading Happy Gardening:D
Best go and do a bit more I guess:D0 -
Good afternoon,
DD duly despatched until 5, been for a walk in the woods & got myself covered in tree sap, smells lovely but looks like I've had a mishap
next load of washing on now
Yummy egg mayo sarnie for lunch & will potter here until digested then off to the garden again for some more weeding ...0 -

Not many of us around today
Certainly can't be because of the weather - it's been raining here and the wind is really cold - why is that, clio.
I missed the F1 qualifying, and will miss the actual race tomorrow as I will be delivering groceries to the idle rich of Wiltshire.
Anyway - a late afternoon 'bump' from me.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I also missed the F1 qualifying rog - all I know is that Ferrari have improved and are in the top somewhere but thats it.
I have been doing some housework, ventured out between showers to buy a newspaper and some milk and I have been watching the telly - its way too windy here.

Hi everybody.
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.
If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
Kind wishes
P
