I have some news about the trees, it would appear that as the trees are poplars they shouldnt have been cut down:j Now I am working with various members of the council to get preservation orders slapped on all the others - it would seem that although the poplars were not preserved the householder should still have asked the council's permission to chop them down and they haven't done so:rolleyes:

Just to report the Cluckle sisters, Pauline and Barietta, are safely tucked up in their Eglu for the night. Various contented clucking sounds can be heard so I assume they approve of their accommodation.
