At my office the company have installed picnic benches and a few pots of flowers to encourage lunchbreaks. But people are usually too busy to take a break from their desk (or in my case too addicted to MSE;)).
At ASDA we have one overflowing 'ashtray' screwed to the wall in the corner of the car park, in their case to discourage breaks.
Obviously they haven't employed the same HR consultants as your company. :rolleyes:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Ah its a troll. I did wonder....
Our HR bods meetings go along the lines of "ooh lets give the staff some fluffy cheap benefits that make them think we care and perhaps they won't object to not getting a payrise this year".
So they spend £3 or £4k on being 'caring' employers and save ooh a quick estimate of £150k in inflationary payrises.
