what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

Hello Horace. You posted after I'd started mine (slow fingers as I'm painting my nails). Doesn't sound like you are in for a great weekend. Hope your Dad is okay and you can help him feel more positive.

Only imagined upside - maybe you'll have a big surprise cheque waiting in the post at ex's? We can dream.

Dad is in his 70's and has congestive heart failure not helped by the fact that he still smokes:mad: (he has tried to give up and failed). I can see where he is coming from because he can no longer do things and he is bored sitting watching the birds. Hopefully I can make him feel a bit better. Might see if I can find a book for him tomorrow when I am out (note to self, put freebie book tokens into purse - find your waterstones card).

I dont think there will a cheque waiting for me - just bills (yawn).

I am off out tomorrow with one of my chums - we are going shopping and mooching. I need to buy a dress for her wedding reception, I don't need new shoes as I will wear a pair that I have already got and I won't need a handbag either again I will use my very best one.

Wishing though that I could go for a spin on a motorbike and feel the wind in my hair:D and get flies on my teeth:eek:
