  • Go to maps.google.co.uk
  • Search for the postcode or address you are looking for
  • Click on the map that comes up
  • The address will be pinpointed with a bubble above it. Click on the link that says 'Street View'
  • This will take you to the panoramic image. Clicking on the arrows will move you in that direction. Making a dragging motion on the screen will allow you to see the 360 degree view
  • You can use the map in the lower right corner to fly your mini 'person' to different destinations

Funnily enough we were looking at this earlier. Unfortunately large parts of Amsterdam don't seem to have been surveyed!
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

The house I lived in as a child with my mom and dad, haven't lived there for 36yrs. Was amazing seeing it, moved away 25yrs ago.

    Not everywhere is done.

If you put in a postcode and there's a little orange man above the zoom slider, drag him onto the map and the streets which highlight blue are available to look at.

If he's grey, then there's no street view.

My present and previous 3 addresses are not available, though my work is.
    Dave.
