Petition For Savings Tax Relief

Hi,
Have noted your recent “Petition to Gov for transparent relief for Savings interest etc and have signed up for this.
Another suggestion for a further petition;
Given the fact that the Govt appear to be assisting virtually everyone with their ongoing “bailout” packages it seems to me that it would be useful if prudent savers including pensioners could get some relief for their prudence, i.e. paying all savings interest TAX FREE. This would serve to give some comfort to those people who have been forward looking and have managed their financial affairs wisely.
