Highlight Powder - Was going to use voucher

Hoped to get 3 for 2 on the limited edition items, and the free highlight power, minus perkie leaving 4.xx ish to pay.

Put through the 3 items, then powder, then powder voucher and it beeped. SA Looked at it, and said that because I was already getting 3-4-2 then I couldn't get the free powder? Or that's what the till was saying anyway. I wasn't in an arguing mood, figured I'd try SS tills elsewhere tomorrow.

So got the 3 items anyway, minus perkie, for 4.88 total - still a bargain!!

I didn't get any of the other NO 7 vouchers, only the 1 highlight powder.

High St Kensington had a whole stack of the Limited Collection items if anyone is searching for them.

Might stop off at Victoria on the way to work tomorrow and try again on the SS tills there I still have 5 perkies to use!

** Oh, and despite what I first thought, I managed to womble 2 of the new till spits this afternoon at HSK. Seems people are just leaving them behind at tills/exits as they leave the store.....bonus!**

Hmm, the high lights powder acm voucher just seems to work randomly by the sounds of it!!

Maybe Mr B is just trying to keep us on our toes :rolleyes:

I'd normally 'take a hit' and try them, but OH has masses of skincare stuff. These might have been overlooked as they were there last week too. No guarantees they'd work on 342 either, but worth a try if anyone likes them. hths. Off to catch up.

i went to boots at 5:30 and picked up 2 wipes and a highlighter. my thinking was one wipes free (342) then hand over highlighter voucher and then perkie...grand totla of £2.

BUT the coupon for the highlighter beeped and the sa just over rode the price to 0.00. this meant that the 0.00 was seen as the cheapest so took this of as the 342 - perkie was £7.xx...


So i did get the free highlighter but not a great saving

Gave SA the Highlight Vouchers then the NO7 Voucher.

Good luck for tomorrow. I think I was lucky though (reading posts) because some stores are not accepting these vouchers without the dreaded beep.

I slipped up today, but not too upset.
I had the highlighter voucher from ACm - although why on earth I would want anymore after all those we got free with 25p sachets last year thanks to Sally06, goodness knows.
Anyway, I wanted another glasses case and I have 2 perkies still to use, my thinking was that if I got 2 glasses cases and the highlighter, one of the glasses cases would be taken off with the 342, then the highlighter would be taken off with the ACM coupon, then the perkie would take off another £5, leaving only a few pence to pay, but it didn't work.
The highlighter voucher beeped whan the SA put it through, so she had to over ride it, she told me that I should go and fetch another No7 item as they were on 342, I said I wasn't bothered, thinking I would still get the 342 anyway, but it didn't come up as pence, it came up as £5.80, I thought she hadn't taken the perkie off, but she had. So I got her to put it through again, still came up the same, so we added a credit card holder, which went through as free, obviously with her having to over ride the highlighter, it didn't count on the 342.
I ended up with 2 glasses cases, a credit card holder and a highlighter, approx £28 worth of stuff for £5.80, so still pleased.

I didn't get any of the other No 7 vouchers offered from the ACM, although wouldn't have wanted them anyway. I did get a Neal's yard voucher offered to me, can't remember what it was as I didn't print it out.

I still have a perkie left and another highlighter voucher from my friend's card, not decided if I'm going to just spend it one item and the free highlighter or try the 342 again.
