Dashed out of the door and bro and his wife turned up, (but not before I'd spotted and printed your post out) So I persuaded them to pop along too.
Between the 4 of us, none of us managed to get anything but the free Illuminating powder :rotfl: but it was fun wondering what we would get lol. Didn't have a clue how to use what we did get (sooo may vouchers lol) so settled for:
1 x No7 Stay Perfect Foundation Compact - £6.35
2 x No7 Spring Eye Pallettes - £5.38 each
Paid £6.73 after using the perkie, so not bad really.
Then got:
1 x No7 wipes - £6.40
2 x No7 Spring Eye Pallettes
Paid £6.78 after purkie so pleased with that too.
Initially the tills went crazy after I'd tried with a £9.50 eye pallette and 2 lower priced items (£6 ish) and even though the receipt showed the 342 and £5 voucher redemption, it came to just under £20  lol. No matter which way the SA's tried, it wouldn't work until I changed the £9.50 eye pallette to something cheaperand they really tried. It wouldn't even work by putting one item through at £1.35, so I think all the offers have sent the tills a bit wonky
The Illuminating Powder voucher didn't seem to want to play at all, and not for the want of trying (again) by the SA, but at least I got two to try with another day
Managed to get 2 x Med Bag with contents for £3.70 ish each, so gave SIL one to shut her up
But well done once again - what a result! x (And after skim-reading, really pleased that I wasn't the only one that received mailings for the first time too. Really happy for you peeps as wellMy OH got more than me
lol)
Laters - need to make coffee for SIL :rolleyes:xxx

Hi
I used the highlights voucher this afternoon and the tills didn't beep.
I bought:-
Highlights Powder (free after voucher)
No7 Stay Perfect Lip Laquer (4.75 reduced to zero as 3for 2)
No7 Bath Soak £7.80 less £5.00 perkie £2.80
Used £10.00 Highlights voucher and £5.00 Perkie
Total £2.80 to pay. I didn't receive the other No7 ACM vouchers either
I also put the highlights voucher through b4 the perkie0 -
Walked into a store today and lots of chatter amongst SAs - something about "1p" so hung back.
Turns out the "Boots Chewing Gum - 20 sugar free pieces" : Spearmint and Peppermint flavours were being cleared for 1p each. One SA grabbed two baskets and filled them. I managed to grab eight before she came back for the rest. Check for these as these flavours are being discontinued and went through the tills at 1p.
ETA: I think I was the only NON-SA to get these today !0 -
I have 1 more highlighter voucher to use up.
Do you think this would work - 2 x No7 wipes so till takes off 1 x wipes as cheapest item, then £10 for the highlighter, plus minus £5 for the perkie so total equals £1.50??
Sorry to quote myself but I went in after work to try this and was foiled as the store no longer had any highlighters
Still have 2 perkies to use.
Anyway I found on clearance the new large Extracts body butter for £1.84 so used 150pts H&H mag, Good Works wash at £1.94 and used 100 pt ACM & a couple of mini Mediteran body butter and washes at 25p.
Then when I got home I got a mailing, yeah, first time for donks but I got 350 pts on a £40 spend, I must spend too much in Mr Boots!! lol:rotfl:Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -

Sorry to sound a bit simple, but I really want to use my vouchers without the embarassment I had today, but you said you put highlights voucher through first. Did you do it before pressing 'finish & pay' or after and use the 'coupons' button? And same question for the perkie.
Sorry to need things spelt out for me, but very nervous about going back to same store tomorrow, dont think I could cope if SS till breaks down on me again:o:o:o.
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -

Woohooo Mailing and Washing up Liquid all in 1 day!!!!:T
I wonder why they have done away with the clearance shelf??? I always ask the SA where it is lol!!!:rotfl:0 -
Just had a horrific time in my local. Was looking for the no7 petal eye palettes to use my last perkies on but none on the shelf, looked for the no7 sa but couldnt find her, ask at the tills if she was around and they said yes she should be, looked again couldnt find her, asked security guard who was stood by no7 counter and he said she'd finished and he would help me.Told him what i was after, He opened the drawer at bottom of no7 shelves and there were the eye palette so i said i would have some of them he then said i dont know if we should be selling them if they are in the drawer so i will ask my manager. The manager storms over to me and shouts did you help your self to them out of the drawer. Horrified i replied how dare you say i took them out of the drawer and why on earth would you suggest that. I said i came in to use the remaining No7 vouchers b4 they run out on sunday. I dont think she expected me to stand up for myself as she then said sorry and you can have them then. I was disgusted that she spoke to me like that and made other customers stare as though i was doing something wrong. This was my local store and it's really put me off going in their now. I phoned Customer care and they have passed it on to a manager and i should get a call tomorrow. Hopefully she will be re-trained in customer service. She is the only one in this store that makes me feel uncomfortable for using vouchers.
Sorry to moan,
By the way the palettes were £5.38 and 38p after perkie
also got 3 x no7 lip laquers £4.50 each 1/2 price and 342 used perkie £4.50 for all three.:T :T0 -
what do the palletes look like? thankyou
pic please?0 -
