Good thinking jtz, the only problem I think is it's uncertain which item is going to be free, the other item or the powder.
Forget about our heads spinning, I'm sure their own system is confused too :rotfl::rotfl:
Poor you asset2004:o, can imagine how embarrassing it must be for you. We should really thank all the "pioneers" who go on changeover days and bear all the embarrassment to test combo for all of us! You guys/girls are angles!!! :A0 -
WooHoo! Well done with the new offers and ACM vouchers Mr B! Congratulations to all of you who got mailings, those vouchers look like some of the best ever. Mr B doesn't send me mailings but, hey... I got some good ACM vouchers this time.
I've just done a quick skim read and haven't seen anyone mention the 1000 points offer on the ACM for random customers. Sadly I didn't "win", has anyone else managed to get the extra points today?
Durham Bootsers, the ACM's in Marketplace were out of order this morning, the upstairs one had a notice on it, the downstairs one just sat there looking sullen and refused to play when I put my card in. No clearance stand in Marketplace either.
Off to the Arnison Centre where the ACM is working and got my vouchers, did my best shop of the day here. There was a bit of 17 on clearance, some tan wipes for pennies so you could get a free nail varnish with these if the new offer kicks in, SA willing. I forgot to try.
2x No7 Spring Eye palettes @ £5.38 each (half price)
No7 QT Wipes @ £6.40
Highlights powder @ £10
Used perkie and ACM Highlights voucher, total to pay £6.78 and gained £2 tillspit. The Highlights voucher beeped and had to be deducted manually. SA looked slightly peeved when I walked away with all my goodies for such a low spend :rotfl:
Can confirm that the tillspit works on the pink Bourjois tweezers with no beeps, 93p to pay. Also, there seem to be some reductions on some items in the ranges mentioned on the tillspit voucher Eg: mascara, foundation, a blusher in Bourjois now under £6 each. There's £3 off selected Max Factor too. Spotted a few other bits and pieces, so all in all a good selection of things to use tillspits for a small spend. I used another tillspit to get MF Creme Puff, Translucent for £2.84
Back to Marketplace to pick up No7 Spring Blusher. SA also found the last Lip Tint for me and showed me the Stay Perfect lippies that are now £4.65 (handwritten SEL but a national reduction apparently). I got Glace (55) which is a fabby pinkish colour with a gold gleam to it. 342 kicked in so £10.03 to pay and another tillspit.
Anyone in the Durham area wanting the half price Spring eye palettes and blushers, Arnison Centre has the eye palettes (unless the SA's have snapped them all up) and Marketplace has the blushers. No more lip tints.
Everywhere else, if you want these then ask the No7 SA to check out the back for you, they didn't have these out today and I had to ask for them, they are now off plan and SA's were unaware of the price reduction until they were scanned.
342 works on reduced No7, if you want to use up a perkie though you'll need to have at least one full priced item which is not the cheapest item to get it to work (for anyone newish who is wondering)0 -

Not impressed with the new vouchers have taken to ebay to buy some no7 ones instead.
had a great week last week managed to bag nine stay perfect foundations for half price and then 3 for 2. should keep me going for ages.
I had used the last of mine the morning i went shopping so was prepared to pay full price.
6 in one store and 3 in another.
i also managed to get 2 gwp in the first store, well happy.
keep an eye out for old gwp resurfacing as lots of the old no17 seem to be sold off for a pound.
i love my no17 pallatte with eye pencil lipgloss eye shadow and highlighter for just £1.
Yeah about time i got some bargains.
It's amazing what you find in the little local boots stores.
Made up for my earrlier experience with evil no7 lady0 -

I tried at 3 machines, but didn't win.
Also, forgot to mention that the Spring No7 Limited Edition stuff was completely sold out in the Maidstone, Chequers Centre branch, and only a few eye palettes and about a dozen lip tints left, in both colours, left in the Fremlin Walk branch. The 2 for £2 cotton wool offer doesn't seem to be on in the Chequers Centre branch either.
Oh, and the Free Highlight Powder voucher bleeped, but another SA said she'd not managed to get any to work either, and they had to be over-ridden. She put it through as a Boots coupon.
In the Chequers Centre branch, I bought a '17' nail varnish and got one freeand also bought 'Ghost' perfume, so was able to use a '250 point WYS £30' voucher and got a further 128 points and got another till spit
Then I bought:
Max Factor False Lash Effect Waterproof Mascara £10.76
Bourjois Shimmering Shine Liquid Eyeshadow £6.84
Harajuku 'G' perfume £19.58 (with free rollerball mini perfumes)
Total £37.18
Used £2 till spit against the Bourjois
Used £2 Max Factor voucher (from a GWP?)
So £33.18 to pay
Used a '250 point WYS £30' voucher and also got another 132 points
Got another till spit
I got home to find I'd received a mailing, so could have got even more points if I'd waited, and 100 points for the mascara I bought! Still, my daughter now wants to go down to Boots and spend her birthday money on a couple of Harajuku perfumes, and she doesn't have a Boots cardI might suggest she buys a cream egg with each, and puts them through as 2 transactions so I can use my 2 x '150 points when you spend £20 or more' mailing vouchers LOL

I got a '500 points when you buy from the Ruby & Millie color cosmetics range' voucher in my mailing, but my local branches don't stock R&M apart from a few brushes. I would be interested to know if this works with the brushes at all, although I doubt it.0
