OK just got back from my dash to Boots and it didnt work for me

I was trying to buy the glycolic peel, line lift and high lights powder (also meal deal),
Did it on SS till and only got it to accept the 1/2 price glycolic peel voucher, on the others said deal not meet and SA came over , she was lovely though and took me over to her till :eek:. She did try to get vouchers to go through but it was a no go. She said I wasn't spending enough to get the line lift and the high lighter thing was going through free anyway so she said wouldnt work.

I am now really annoyed at myself cos I think if I put vouchers through in specific order would have worked. I did peel voucher first. But I think if you did line lift voucher, then high lighter then glycolic peel it might work :confused:
What order did you do BBB

I felt so embarassed I ended up just buying the peel for the half price and my meal deal. Stupid of me though, I should have said I didnt want any of it cos now I've spent £8* on something dont really want and used up my voucher

Hope everyone else has more luck:D

This almost exactly the same as happened to me
I started at the SS till, put my 3 items through
    No7 Glycolic Peel - £17.60
    No7 Line Lift £12.70
    No7 High Lights Powder £10.00

I used the free Line Lift voucher fisrt - it beeped and wouldn't go through and said the conditions hadn't been met. SA came over and examined my bag and was shouting at me saying that No7 was on 342 offer and I couldn't get it free becaue I was already getting the powder free. I didn't dare show her my other vouchers and the queue was growing longer and the more she shouted. I just wanted the ground to swallow me up.

So went upstairs to another SA who tried very hard to get the Line Lift cvoucher to go through even getting a key to over ride it, it still wouldn't work. I showed her my Highlighter voucher and she could understand my thinking but the till was saying 'NO!'.
All this time the queue was growing too.

So off I went to the No7 counter, the queue was long too and eventually got served who couldn't get the highlighter one to work but knew this and over rode it. She said she hadn't seen the 1/2 price Glycopeel voucher but eventually got the Line Lift voucher to work. She kept suggesting that I bought something else to take advantge of the 342 offer and I tried with a P&P lip cream but that didn't come off the price.
I used a purkie so final price to pay was £3.80 for the 3 items, no GWP to be seen but I doubt I've got it to go through.

Now I've came back and thought about it I should be entitled to another No7 product but the hassle I went through today was just not worth it.

The 2 SA that served me were very helpful and kept complaining about Boots issuing coupons that the till doesn't recognise.

Sorry for the long post, I just want to let off some steam!!

    Hopefully my first ever "glitch"

Wnet to Boots and at hte ACM I got these vouchers:
NO7 Glyco Peel half price £8.80
Free No7 Line Lift when spending over £15
Free Highlights powder from No7 with any purchase of No7.

Picked up all three and headed to the SS tills.
The highliting powder was free anyway as 342
put through the coupons and price to pay £-1.20
The till actually gave me £1.20 and 32 points!
    for £40 worth of goods.
Also the SS tills gave a till spit so hoping for a future glitch with the £2 offs.
If it helps I put through the coupons in the following order.
    Free Powder.
    Free eye.
    half price voucher.

edit - and I used finish and pay and pressed the coupon button each time.

So guess this is how it works? (according to boots programming:rolleyes:):
    NO7 Glyco Peel £17.6
    No7 Line Lift £12.7
    Highlights powder £10
342 so £17.6+£12.7, ACM highlights deducted £10 off even though the highlights power is already free :p, then free ACM line lift minus £12.7, then half price peel minus £8.8 so -£1.2 (£17.6+£12.7-£10-£12.7-£8.8) :rotfl::rotfl:
Well done BBB:T Wish I can get to boots now:D

    powder...eye...half-price-voucher
    powder...eye...half-price-voucher
    powder...eye...half-price-voucher

(It helps if you chant it rythmically (sp))

That is exactly correct, as well as the highlighter one as the No7 SA knew it didn't scan.

    or this:
    No7 Glycolic Peel - £17.60
    No7 Line Lift £12.70
other no7 item that would work as the free one in 342
    No7 High Lights Powder £10.00

so you've got the cheapest item free then give the free line lift voucher so youve got that free and then the illuminating powder so youve got that free and then lastly the half price glyco peel one....
sooooo you pay erm £8.xx for all that and gwp if you get it but if you have perkie £3.xx!!!
maybe the first way is better for those with SS and the second way for those with manned tills??
my heads spinning!!! am very confused now...can someone tell me which of these ways would be better/work...that's all supposing i actually get these vouchers!!!

That's what I tried to do with the No7 SA but was completely thrown by the vouchers not scanning. Maybe once the tills are sorted it would work but I don't think I could face that kind of hassle again in the near future.

I tried 3 different ACMs today, and only the first one gave me a Highlight Powder voucher :( None of them gave me the Line Lift or Peel vouchers at all.

However, I was really pleased with my first shop, at the Fremlin Walk branch.

The Pantene may not be on 2 for £4 anymore, but the Pantene Ice (shampoo and conditioner only) is included in the BOGOF offer, so even better, although I would have liked to get the hairspray and serum as well.

    I got:

    Pantene Ice Shampoo £2.91
    Pantene Ice Conditioner £0.00 (BOGOF)
    Cotton wool pads x 2 £2.00 (£1.52 each, but 2 for £2.00)
    No7 High Light powder £0.00 (was £10.00)
    No7 Spring Eye Palette £5.38
No7 Lip Tint Pink £0.00 (was £4.00, but free on the 3 for 2)
    No7 Lip Tint Peach £4.00

    Total £14.29
Used perky, which worked with no beeps, even though an SA had said it wouldn't work with the reduced price Limited Edition stuff
So £9.29 to pay, got 76 points and earned the new till spit voucher

They only had one colour (the Island one) in the Highlight powder, but got it anyway, and the lovely SA in the Chequers Centre branch kindly exchanged it for the pink one for me :)

In the Chequers Centre branch, I looked for the Fuji J10 camera which someone here said was now £39, but it's still £78.xx there, and the SA said she had already checked the price for someone else today - maybe another MSEer??
