Oh dear...
Well, I'm sitting in a hotel in Korea having just phoned the bank as they decided to flag my card (probably to be honest as it got used in the UK, in Finland then in Seoul within 48 hrs :rotfl: ) Conversation went smething like this:
CS: Good afternoon Celyn, you've been connected to the fraud department directly because of an alert on your card, may we take you through security
Me: Sure
CS: Please can you confirm your date of birth
Me: (confirms date of birth)
CS: Right, I need to ask you a question about your transaction history. Oh my, errr..you seem to shop an awful lot in a certain pharmacy store, please can you name it
Me; Oh, that would be Boots.
OH was rolling about laughing - I am never going to live this down
At least Boots is good for something then!! Confirming your identity.
:rotfl:now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -

Oh please, not the £2 off Bourjois and what not. I hated that one last time too! I don't buy flamin' make up, well apart from duff Clinique Concealers that don't work!
Does anyone know if they have a Boots store in Harrogate and if so, where it is? I'm off there tomorrow for a day trip, but I don't think I will be able to keep away from Bootsing!
On the plus side, I have handed out lots of Boots stuff to ladies on here and people at work, so my room is more or less bare! Woohoo.0 -
I went to my local tiny Boots today but didn't buy anything...
when I went outside of the shop, I found a perkie lol.
I might go back soon as I there was the Botanics eye creams that are still £5 off = £1.84 ish then something else to make it up to £5 spend cos I think I should get another perkie instead of waiting til 2morrows pooey comes out lol :rotfl::hello:

Oh it's okay, I called them rather than the other way round because the ATM wouldn't give me any cash (although TBH, I may have asked it to book a dental appointment for me as I'm no 100 % sure what I pressed :rotfl: )
No boots here:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -

Oh please Mr B, not Revlon and Bourjois again. Our Poundland and market has a cheap and plentiful supply of both and there's only so many sharpeners and tweezers a girl or guy needs you know.
Come to think of it, I've got enough haircare to sink a battleship and enough skincare to groom a small horse too. My money is on a fragrance voucher (stinkie or smellie?) though I don't particularly want one, nor do I need money off sunglasses, suncare, swimwear or healthcare. Not that I'm ungrateful you understand...
Had a phonecall from my mum today. For Mothers Day I'd given her some goodies from the recent B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful offer, among them some cute little bags of various dusting powders topped with silk roses. She'd been admiring them today and wondered which one to use after her bath. "What do I do with the Edible Lust Dust?" she asked
I knew I should have given her a Sanctuary set instead..... :rotfl:
PS I've mentioned this before but this time last year there were stickers on the sandwiches for £3 off men's No7, we could use them in conjunction with the 342 offer that was running at the time IIRC. I'm hoping they make another appearance soon.0 -
Not been properly on the board for a while, just been able to catch the odd page here and there so sorry if this has already been mentioned (probably has but I couldn't see it!), just in case anyone is thinking of getting any Toni and Guy Colour shampoos etc.
I got new vouchers today on the acm that weren't there on Sunday, one of which was for 150 points when you buy any of the Toni and Guy Colour products. There is also a voucher in the mag for 150 points so I used both and got 300 points back. Cheapest item is around £4.88 that I could see, but still a good amount of points if you were thinking of buying anyway.
Also got a Mediterranean skin treats set on clearance at £7.00, but I asked about also getting a third off as the range was reduced in general and so in the end got it for £4.33 which I was happy with.0
