please do not be horrible to mollthedoll. she was only trying to back me up as she pm'd me and i told her how i was feeling.

to be honest you can either choose to believe me or not. I'm not going to attempt to justify myself again for the 100th time.
It actually only concerns the 4 lovely people who actually sent me stuff for the charity event. But thankyou for the people who were interested in the event and questioned about it nicely.

i can see that trying to something nice for charity and trying to get other people involved was just not a good idea and it will not happen again.
i apologise for requesting for items. I had not read the rules properly and i would have been much grateful if someone did report the post so i would have been set on the right path.

this will be the last post i will be posting regarding this issue as the whole thing has got me quite annoyed and upset and talking about it more will just get me more upset.

Unfortunately for you HJA is you seem to have a problem with wanting free items + vouchers off people.. Quite a lot of your posts are GIVE ME GIVE ME .. you are always wanting things for free... it starting off for items for yourself/ for presents etc.. then it was for a charity which you told people on here it was definately confirmed it was for mac.millan now it's definately comic relief, which most people would of already gave to as most, not all comic relief events are held at the time it goes on TV so C.R has a great idea of the amount it raises.
BTW ... typing/writing in RED is actually a sign of bad manners + it's rude.

    Now on topic...
my mam went to a lil local Boots but said there was nothing worth buying, so I didn't go in.. hopefully a big Boots soon might be better :D

I posted this on the temp board but just realised I had not posted it here.

Sandra Scarlett is not too well at the moment and that's why she hasn't
posted. So good wishes to Sandra and looking forward to seeing her back on board.

I've tried to follow back this 'charity event' which keeps changing & tbh I can't keep up with it. All seems rather strange to me.

Get well soon Sandra! We miss you here! xx

Well the magic 3 is still working but I think it is SA dependant

Lovely No7 SA in my local actually came up to me with my basket full of N07 and asked if I had the ACM vouchers - I said yes and she said to come to her becuase the line lift was bleeping and she needed to override it

I had glycolic peel, illuminating powder, line lift and cleansing balm as I didn't want to risk having not spent enough. She then said if I wanted the 3 for 2 to get another cleanser so I did

Also had a few bits, razers and blades, Ben10 gift for nephew and some mini mode clothes for niece - having got the voucher out of the mother and baby mag - loads of these on a stand in the baby department

Anyway - it worked out as

Glyco peel - 8.80 - with half price voucher
Illuminating powder - 10.00 - then free with voucher
cleansing balm - free on 3 for 2
line lift - put through as 0 on override
    cleansing balm - 8.50

It looks like it may have gone through without the second cleansing balm but since she was overriding it I didn't want to make an issue - so £17.30 for all those

Then 8.81 for ben10 comic maker gift
£10.xx approx for razor and blades
Mini mode clothes - £12 dress reduced to £6 and £8 top reduced to £4 - then using 20% coupon reduced by another £4 - so £6 for both

Anyway - the whole thing cost me £42.xx. I saved £41 something plus the line lift - so £53 something

I used double points coupon (so 168 +168), 150 points from mailing when you spend £20 and SA said there were more points in the ACM - not sure what she printed but came back with something else which was 150 and 30 points I think

So all in all a good shop - but it looks to me like the line lift voucher is bleeping regardless of whether you met the spend or not
Back to comping! July wins: Frylight August wins: Pixar DVD, Diesel Watch,£75 hamper brioche products September wins bath soak

Thanks to everyone who posts comps and help

Wow that is a bargin Angel!! So from what I gather, you still get a free nail polish with any reduced 17??

I'm always seeing reduced 17 items always under £1 so a fab way of getting girly present's :j I can put them with the [STRIKE]mountain [/STRIKE]remainder of JK files I have :T

Quick question, I am desperately trying to find a pair of the mini mode tractor dungarees in 1 1/2 to 2 years, unfortunately my local store only has teeny or huge ones left. Has anyone seen any? Don't know if anyone bedfordshire way can help me please, as I really want these for my chubby bubbs!

    Thanks

    Peterborough Queensgate today

Small clearance with lots of toothbrushes at about £1.30.lots of med mango stuff reduced too but were still over £3 so left it. Got some expert roll ons with 50 points .Spent one pooey on a foundation but got one back .I am on a merry go round !

BTW can we leave the charity chat to the other thread- I know i am as guilty of this as anyone but I can see some people get a bit annoyed !

I think it depends on the 17 item which is reduced - as it didn't work for me at either SS tills or SA till, with reduced 17 lip gloss.
