My heart wasn't really in it after walking all round town for the past four hours but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to grab a bargain so grabbed a nail varnish hoping that both would cost 50p! But at the till the SA was on to my plan and said that it wouldn't work. So I left both. I did tell her that there were no exclusions on the offer sign but she was having none of it! She said that the 17 item had to be full priced for it to work. I told her again that I could see no exclusions on the sign (nicely and with a big smile of course! ) but it was a no go! OH was red faced but I didn't care, some you win some you lose!! This Bootsing does wonders for your confidence!!

Hi everyone

Clearance section of Boots (Princes Street Branch) yesterday had lots of the pretty polly leg bronzing sticks for £1.25, soap & glory set of 3 sexy mother pucker lipglosses £8.35. The branch in St James centre had Heinz baby food 20p a small tin with a sell by date of 2011. Some other baby items and a couple of toys but nothing much else to report - nothing memorable anyway.

(Glad to see the forum is up and running again - didn't really know what to do with myself yesterday evening!!!)

It must vary from store to store or by the 17 item cos I got the tan wipe, 50p clearance sticker + the nail varnish went through free with no beeps
