Yeah hun it was fab the SA's couldn't have been any nicer and as I had bought gift sets I wasn't really entitled to the free gifts but she said she would give me them and was really fussed over :o
Now all I need to work out is what one to use first :rotfl:
    Thanks again xx

I bought a Ralph Lauren Notorious Gift Set for £20 something pound reduced from £32.99 approx 2 months ago. Receipt will be somewhere in the mound of Boots receipts I have in a draw.

Anyway decided to open up gift set and have spray of the perfume. Only probem being the small pipe thingymebob that leads from spray into perfume was missing.........chuffing fabulous! No option for it I thought I'll return it to Boots SA lovely and helpful not a problem. Or so I thought ..........no more Notorious giftsets left in the store so I said ok put it on my giftcard until I decide what perfume I would like. Thats not a problem either lovely SA said only thing is she said I'll have to refund you what the till scans it up has okie dokie I said.

It scanned at freaking chuffing £15.66. Had to accept no other option but am seething. I'm gutted really:(

Plus I don't recall anyone on here posting they had bought this giftset reduced to this price.

Has anyone please post and let me know. It may pee me off even more mind:rotfl:

I have this in my favourites on Boots.com and price is still £32.99. I wouldn't mind the giftset still had the price sticker on too.

Off to drown my sorrows with a diet coke!

Lots of sympathy going your way, Rubylou. This is too late for you, but might help someone else. When the lid of my bottle of Miss Dior started coming off, I wrote to Dior saying it was being wasted because I kept spraying it by accident when I rummaged around in handbag. (Nice smell handbag!!) They got me to send it back to check it and then when they realised it was genuine, replaced it, although it was two thirds empty and they sent me a shower gel as well. So when things like this happen it's sometimes worth going to the manufacturer.

As the board will close before long, thought I'd remind people that paidtoshop.co.uk is another good site to find deals and chat this weekend. Liverbird's board will be a good spot to share Boots info, of course, but those who like newspaper threads etc might want to look on paidtoshop.

I also found a thread that looks like it's been used by MSE folks in the past during shutdowns, and possibly peeps will use it again this weekend: http://www.paidtoshop.co.uk/showthread.php?t=19008&highlight=refugees&page=65

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

Off topic a bit, but in Debenhams today the Clinique SA gave me a lovely sample of Clinique Solutions, daily relief cream,
as I mentioned I had sensitive skin.
It is in a lovely little glass pot and has 15ml of the product in it.
It looks as though it will be enough for a few weeks too.
The full sized product is £31.31 in Boots for 100 ml, not tried it yet though.

The Lancome SA gave me 2 x 15 ml tubes of Hydra Zen Face and Eyes, which she said was also for sensitive skin.
They have a lovely gwp at the moment. It is a white box full of skin care products worth £99.
To get it you need to buy any 1 skincare item then pay £29 for the gwp.
Debenhams also have some £10 off wyb any Lancome, Vouchers floating about too,
they were given to Debenhams card Holders, but are also printed in the Perfume and Beauty Leaflet/ Mini Mag found in store,
valid till the 16/04. The gift is lovely and has at least 8 nice products in it. There is also an offer of a free gift voucher for £5
to spend in store that you would get if buying this. HTH :)

Yes, it is the height but you have to be careful as some stuff can be quite narrow esp in vertbaudet

Thanks AM and Sooz, gives me a better idea what to look for. It's been a long time since I had to shop for little 'uns !

    top Tip

If You Put Your Voucher/coupon In The Slot On A Self Service Till And It Doesn't Recognise It

blow In It, It Moves The Vouchers And The Sensor Will Then Know Its There, Has Worked Everytime For Me :)

Lol Sarah, I have done this everytime since I dropped my driving licence in the slot whilst pushing the voucher in :o:o

I have to say I do get some funny looks though from the SA's but I always say "You may laugh but it work's and saves you coming over every 2 mins to clear the screen" :D

Maybe Mr B should put a sign near the slot saying "After insertion please blow" :rotfl: :rotfl:
