Has anyone phoned CS about the humiliating vouchers?

Probably all of the No7 assistants I'd think :rotfl: To be fair, the SA's that tried with mine were really helpful, but I can see by reading some posts that others haven't been so lucky and have been met with derision.

I'm not sure I'd put up with some of the nonsense that others have endured. There's no need whatsoever for any customer to be made to feel uncomfortable over the use of a voucher that Boots supplied, and I'd be tempted to ring CS if it had happened to me.

sally06 - My friend said the gwps were selling for approximately £6.70 ish, but Triker mentioned buying one for £6.50 but £1.50 with the perkie. I might retrace their footsteps :rotfl: I spotted one in a small store yesterday and got such a chicken and bull story about why it couldn't be sold that I nearly applauded the SA's ingenuity ;)

Right hassle yestreday - got the humiliating powder voucher and tried to 3 for 2 it with 2 of the 8.50 cleansing balms - young lad saying it would go through as 0 as the cheapest - as vouchers weren't working and they had to override and do it like that - acted dumb and said didn't understand so went to Bullring to try SS tills

Till bleeped there and after a lot of faffing manager comes over and says because not from their advantage card machine so not to be used there - thought what a load of rot but was peed off by then so went home!

I had a similar problem with an Acm voucher recently but looked up the rules about it on .com and they can be used anywhere even stores without an ACM. Iprinted out the details and took it back to the store and showed the SA in question. HTH

    OK

What would happen if you bought

    glycolic peel [STRIKE]£17.60[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£8.80[/STRIKE] £0.00
    hghlight powder [STRIKE]£10.00[/STRIKE] £0.00
    line lift [STRIKE]£12.70[/STRIKE] £0.00
    mascara £10.30

using 1/2 price peel voucher, free highlight voucher, free line lift voucher, perkie, and 250 gwp pointer and 100 mascara pointer.

Would the peel come free on 342 as its the cheapest???

Leaving £10.30 to pay, then use perkie so pay £5.30 and get 350 points?? :T:T:T:T
    .
I've tried to work this out, and I think that it may work like this:
Total for 4 items (before discount) £50.60.
I would guess that the till would give you the mascara free as it is 3rd most expensive (that's how it works when you put all 4 in your basket on .com)
    -£10.30
    Then 1/2 price Peel
    -£8.80
    Free highlights
    -£10.00
    Free line lift
    -£12.70
    (Total discounts £41.80)

    £50.60-£41.80 = £8.80 to pay.
Use perkie- £3.30 to pay.

Maybe someone could manage to get all this without the till beeping

Good luck if you can ;)
Been ill all wk so today will be my first look at the ACM, hope I've got something good :rotfl:

rose, I had the same problem but when I was new to Bootsing. I rang CS after being given the same misinformation (and after asking on here if it was right or wrong) and was awarded points. But it's good advice you gave imo, to always be armed with the info about the rules :)

Angel50 - Good luck :D Off to get ready. x

Hi, I'm not sure if it is the post I posted yesterday you are looking for, here it is again......

    Hi Everyone,
I have been reading all your posts and alot of you are saying that you do not get the mailings from boots. If you log into boots online and click on MY ACCOUNT, then click on ADVANTAGE CARD on the left hand side, If you scroll down you will see where your advantage card number is, underneath that, is a small box for you to tick, next to it, it states the following.....

You're safe with us. We promise we'll never share your details with anyone else. We'll send you exclusive mailings as part of our Advantage Card scheme which include money off and extra points coupons worth up to £300*, plus the latest news and tailored information on products, services and offers. You could also receive exclusive invites to our customer evenings. Un-tick this box if you do not wish to receive these.

So tick that box or you may be missing out. I hope that helps, and thanks to all the people who post their shopping lists, I just love to read them, It gives me ideas, Thanks again. :)

sorry if it is not the information you were looking for hths

That's good to know as I haven't received mailings in some 10 years!! Yes MR B - where are they? But then guess what I am already ticked for mailings and still don't get them. I too make sure my advantage card gets regular outings.

I use the biggest brush I have (don't use the brush in the pack, far too small) and kinda tap the brush before applying it so there's not too much on it and swirl it over my face.

Only use the pink one, have tried the peach one and I looked like I'd been Tango'd! :rotfl:

Oh no I got the peach one as someone on here said that was best for blondes!!!!! They had the pink as well but I thought I'd go with what someone said on here - oh dear!!

Had the same problem as most of you ladies with beeping illuminating powder voucher today. No7 SA told me that it was not down to me (as if I thought it was!!) but apparently the voucher was not meant to be out until 30th March and so is not being recognised!!

Still doesn't help us any though does it:confused: Keep trying girls!

so thats their way of making sure we dont use our perkies on it??? lol
soes anyone know if i could use the extra points mailing voucher and double points if i got the glyco peel, illuminating powder, and eye thing for the full prices or will the vouchers only work after all the discounts?
