Sally, :naughty: You said night night at 11.49.... you hooked

    :D:D :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm still here:rotfl: yes, i'm hooked. Big time:rotfl: honestly, this is my very last post tonight. I promise.

ANGEL50, good luck for tomorrow. I don't even know why I bothered with damn voucher today. After all that hassle, I'm giving the high lights away to another bootser. I didn't even want it in the first place. What I wanted was 2 bath soaks for £2.80, but my plan went pear shaped. You win some, you lose some. Another day, another boots store.

I mean it now. I'm off to bed. good night:) zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  • I thought you had already gone, so deleted :D

Hiya everyone - having trouble sleeping so thought I'd catch up on here! Its taken me ages LOL!

hiya I'm further south than you and only have small stores close by, local are Bognor Regis and Chichester, think I need to venture a bit further out at some point. Annoyingly suffer with chronic fatigue syndrome, so can't plan to do to much as never really know how I will feel that day. ...anyway enough of me, its nice to meet you ! X x x

Toots68 - I know the feeling - I was diagnosed with CFS about 4 years ago and recently (in Jan this year) was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia so am the same in that its difficult to plan to do too much and not always easy to go further afield but my local store is rubbish so I have to!!! Its great fun though when you do bag a bargain!!

off topic: I collected a prescription today and was asked to pay £14.20:eek: SA said it was because I had 2 items. What a rip off. I think I need to give up my part-time job. It's hardly worth going out to work when you have to pay out so much:mad:

Sally06 - sorry to snip!! I totally agree about the cost of bloomin prescriptions - I had to buy 3 items recently!!! and had to pay £21.30!!
    :mad::eek::mad:

Have decided it is definitely worth buying a prescription pre-payment card so will be sorting that out tomorrow!!

Popped out today & just had 2 perkies left - was saving them to try and get the No7 cc holder & Keyfob thingy for my bestfriends birthday hamper but just couldn't be bothered to search high & low anymore - just can't find them around here!! Checked the ACM and got the following:

    Free No7 Highlights Powder
    - printed it out but couldn't use it as they didn't stock it - No7 SA said she'd never heard of it so it must be a new item & they haven't got it yet!!!

100 points wyb Botanics Cleansing Body Scrub - anyone want this?
100 points wyb any New Boots Original Beauty Formula - anyone want this?
250 points wyb any Boots Expert total Body Range
    200 points wys £25
50 points wyb any Boots Tights and Socks - anyone want this?
1/2 price wyb any No17 Trio Eye Shadow
    3 4 2 wyb T&G New Colour Range - anyone want this?
30 points wyb Boots antibacterial handwash 250ml

    So I bought the following:
    - was a bit of a nightmare as till kept beeping but I stood my ground!

Spent ages at No7 trying to figure out best option & totally confused myself!! Not hard to do these days... :rotfl:

    Trans1
No7 Blissful BodyWash - £7.83 (altho said £7.80 on SEL!!)
No7 SpeedDry nail polish - £6.12 (altho said £6.10 on SEL!)
    No7 Spring Eye Pallette reduced - £5.38
    342 so Eye Pallette free
Used Perkie so £8.95 to pay
gained Pooey or whatever its called! :rotfl:

    Trans2
Charles Worthington Leave in Conditioner - £1.35
    CW Shiny Gloss 50 - £1.10
CW Takeaway Frizz Conditioner x2 - £0.80p each
Boots Antibac handwash - £1.00 (altho said £0.97p on SEL!)
    £5.05 to pay
Gave 30point ACM coupon for Boots Antibac handwash
    Earnt Pooey
Slightly irritated cos when I checked my receipt the SA hadn't put the extra ACM points on - in fact she hadn't put any on!!! I know its only 50p but its the principle!! :rotfl:

    Trans3
CW Heat Protect Spray - £1.10
CW Res Frizz Gel - £1.10
CW Takeaway Relax Cream - £0.80p
    Alberto Raspberry Conditioner x2 - £0.50p each
    Alberto Apple Conditioner - £0.50p
    No7 File/Buffer Set - £4.89
    Boots Expert Handwash - £1.00
    Used Perkie
    £5.50 total to pay
    gained pooey
tried to use the ACM 250 points Boots Expert total body but beeped & SA said it was cos the handwash was reduced!

    Trans4
Dove Colour Care Therapy Shampoo for dark hair - £0.95 reduced
used 50p Dove voucher so £0.45p to pay!
Had to do this separately cos young SA couldn't get it to go through at the reduced price (hadn't even tried my voucher at that point!) so she sent me off to the other end of shop! & then older SA not very impressed when I handed over my 50p off voucher!
 and then even more less impressed iyswim when I asked her to scan my Boots butterfly carrier bag for my extra point!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

At times I felt a bit red in the face & embarrassed but I didn't allow myself to show it or give up - afterall Mr B did give me the vouchers afterall!!! I will stand my ground I will stand my ground - even if there is suddenly a queue of about 10-15 people built up just cos of little old me and my coupons!!! they shouldn't just have one person serving cos its after 4pm!!!

Soooooooooooooooooo sorry for the loooooooong post!! Can you tell I'm bored & can't sleep!! :rotfl: :rotfl: Off to try and catch up on the chat thread now...

The instructions on the Highlight Powder are very brief!!! Is this to be swept all over the face or just as blusher?? Anyone know??? lol!!! TIA!
It's the powder version of the Illuminating lotion that's just been relaunched I think, it's quite translucent when applied.
You can use it as a light blusher or here and there on your face as a highlighter, I suppose you could use it on your shoulders etc as a highlighter too. The brush supplied is carp though, it needs a bigger one. It's quite a nice product though the box tends to fall apart after a while.

Its definitely not a new product, we were all getting loads of them free last year, its been around for a long time.

Yep, it's the lotion that's just been relaunched. Boots must have tons of the powder as they seem to have been desperate to give it away for ages.

Right hassle yestreday - got the humiliating powder voucher and tried to 3 for 2 it with 2 of the 8.50 cleansing balms - young lad saying it would go through as 0 as the cheapest - as vouchers weren't working and they had to override and do it like that - acted dumb and said didn't understand so went to Bullring to try SS tills

Till bleeped there and after a lot of faffing manager comes over and says because not from their advantage card machine so not to be used there - thought what a load of rot but was peed off by then so went home!

May go back today and get it with just the cleansing balm and a perkie

I did manage to womble 2 till spits while the SA went off to get his manager though - small silver lining

No peel kits or line fillers in my ACM
