    Eek!
Did they give a reason Sarah?

    it says on the email
    Dear XXXXXX,
As part of our internal procedures to protect our customers we undertake a series of order checks. Having carried out these checks we are regret we are unable to proceed any further with the order detailed below.
don't ask me why but i've a sudden urge to go and spend my points i've some pending from the clinique

only ordered 6 washing up liquids and 6 wash liquids
funny though that half of it is still in stock!
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there

  • Thanks, i thought it was just bourjois and max factor! That palette does look lovely, theres also an eyeliner online thats only £3.20 so £1.20 after the voucher. :)

The single eyeshadow is also on offer at the moment (not available online) and I think it was £2.80 (didn't take a huge amount of notice as I was quite taken by the pallet:o ).

Just been to local boots. Got three mascaras 342 and highlights. Used perkie and acm voucher. £15 to pay. Also earned a minkie (make-up pinkie?). Had a quick peek at the bourjois range. Spotted a few accessories at the bottom of the display. Not very expensive. I went for a pink pair of slant tweezers.

Had to pay just 93p. So maybe voucher not so pooey now?

Ok ,I've spent my last 2 perkies!

    1st shop
    2 x Age rewind serum
    1 x highlighter
    1 x bath soak

Used Perkie,250pts from gwp and free highlighter from acm.The highlighter one beeped but the lovely male SA just voided the item and put it through as £0.00.
So total was £20.xx so quite happy at that!

I thought the acm had given me 2 x highlighter vouchers but I could only find one so next shop

2 x Age rewind day creams
    1 x Age rewind serum

Used perkie and was brave enough to use no7 till Total =£20.20

With all these Age rewind creams I will soon look 12:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I still can't work out the 342 and if you need 4 items with the highlighter voucher.
Did someone suggest that the voucher goes through without beeping when you buy cosmetics rather than skincare or bathcare?
It certainly beeped for me and I got skin/bath stuff:confused:

I used 2 No7 Highlights vouchers today and both beeped, but luckily for me the SA put them through manually for me with no problems.

I got the Highlights powder & 3 lip lacquers in one transaction, & after using perkie & Highlights vouchers it came to £4.50 :j , as 1 of the lip lacquers went through free on the 342 offer as well as the highlights being free.

In the other transaction I got the Highlights powder, 1 lip lacquer, 1 No7 brush bag, and 1 No7 mens wash stuff. Total after Highlights voucher & perkie was £9.20. Bargain!!

It's a mystery, I tried highlighter with accessories yesterday but no good, and yet others were successful. So today thought I'd try cosmetics....

    Transaction 1: Shop 1

Tried BBB's peel / linelift / highlighter combo at SS and manned but did not work.

    Transaction 2: Shop 2

Wanted to get 2 x No7 Petal Eye Palette and Highlighter.
    Used Highlighter coupon + perkie.

Highlighter beeped (of course) so SA called Manager over. He said that No7 was 342 so with the highlighter free it beeped (yeah, right). Anyway scanned palette three times (said I could go get a 3rd No7 product) and he override the till so highlighter free.

    Anyway receipt says:

    No7 Spring Eye Pal 5.63
    No7 Spring Eye Pal 5.63
    No7 Spring Eye Pal 5.63 Now 0.00

    Redeem uk save 5 0.00
(Includes previous No7 Spring Eye Pal)
(Includes previous No7 Spring Eye Pal)
    Saving 5.00 Now -5.00

    No7 Highlighter 0.00

    Total to pay 6.26 (???)

So got 3 Spring items and Highlighter. It was more than I thought but didn't bother, as they were nice to do the whole thing.

    Transaction 3: Shop 2

Had DD's highlighter voucher so tried with 3 Lip Tints and a Highlighter (as per above Manager's instructions).
    Used Highlighter coupon + perkie.

    Receipt says:

    No7 Highlights 10.50
    No7 Lip Tint Pink 4.25
    No7 Lip Tint Pink 4.25 Now 0.00

    Redeem uk save 5 0.00
    (Includes previous No7 Highlights 10)
    (Includes previous No7 Lip Tint)
    Saving 5.00 Now -5.00

    No7 Lip Tint Pink 4.25

AND THEN - as SA tried a few times and the Highlighter coupon always beeped, she typed it in and I noticed that it came up with "Incentive Bond" and 6.00 to pay - TO ME!!!. With my confused Boots Tart look, I didn't say anything and she said "oh, I have to give you 6.00 - can you give me a gift card please and I'll put it on that."

How fast did Nine Tails hightail out of there?

Not there yesterday, but today the ACM had a Max Factor competition to "win this season's hot Gabriel Handbag worth 1,620" from design house PPQ.

Arggh...just had a majorly stressful Bootsing trip. I got one of the highlighter vouchers (didn't get the glycolic peel one though which I was so hoping for) and tried to use it...big mistake! Cue protracted conversation at tills, absolutely furious staff and utter stress. All because I wanted to use the voucher for the free highlighter!

I tried it with the two No7 and was told no, not valid as part of deal and that is why it beeped. So, went and ran bought another item and was told no, not valid. Then manager said it couldn't be used. I asked what can it be used with as it says free with any No7 and if you tell me what I can use it with then i can maybe get that? No, You can't use it with anything they tell me. I try the.. but why did acm give me it then and i don't understand, but you could practically see the steam rising from their heads! Was told it can't be used at all, it is useless. So the merrygoround of a conversation went on and SA was very disapproving when I asked if someone could maybe call HO and see what I could use it with. They were literally really angry with me for wanting to find out how to use the voucher and i couldn't have been more apologetic (although really I had nothing to apologise for when you think about it) and nicer. Apparently they had the same problem earlier and just sent the person away and said no you can't use.

In end I bought one No7 item and was told I couldn't have highlighter. But I stood my ground and after much ado they told me they would just give me it but really the voucher was useless and couldn't be used because of the offers on. I do wonder if it was worth it though..and how it makes you feel afterwards.

Really glad to hear others are having much more luck with theirs though!

Just back from my local Boots. I can confirm that the 500pts on ruby & millie vouchers work with the mascara/i-define type brushes. I got:
    Shop 1:
    R&M mascara brush - £4.00
    2 bottles coke - £1.60
Total: £5.60 (would be free with a perkie but I didn't have one :()
    Got 500 pts + 20pts normal & earned £2 voucher

    Shop 2
    UG Hair beautiful spray £4.88
    UG Spa Overnight repair £4.88
    on 2 for £7
    -£2 mailing voucher
    Total £5.00
    Earned 20 points & £2 voucher

    Shop 3
Bourjois Ultra Glam volume mascara was £7.98 now £5.98
    -£2 voucher
    Total £3.98 and 12 points

So I spent about £13 and gained 552 points, not too bad a shop for me lol

Yet again Mr Boots forgot me when he gave out the free highlighter powder, i'm gutted cos I really wanted it anyway. Reduced sels on No7 lip laquers and lipsticks, down to £4.75. Some model me on clearance for £1 and loads of Prestige eyeshadows/blushers for 50p-75p each.
