I'm back. Went to Teski's and decided to get next week's ingredients to get it out of the way.

Had a wander down the ready meal aisle, I don't normally look but thought if there was something a bit...........nom, nom, nom I would have it as a slobby treat. There wasn't - and the prices of the meals    I really can't believe any of these people who go on shows and say they can't afford to cook from scratch as theyhave no money and so only eat ready meals!! I was NOT paying £3/£4/£5 for a piddly bit of chicken chasseur/pasta with meatballs/beef casserole etc!!!!!!!

Finishing off last night's wine. Then going to run a bath. Might not bother with any dinner to be honest.

I Just don't get the appeal of ready meals at all...you get a measley portion, you have no real idea what is in it, who made it, whether they sneezed, spat or whatever in it and then they want to charge you £4 for the pleasure. I know the same could be said for a takeaway which is one of the reasons I very rarely eat them...
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

i stopped off for petrol on saturday, say £20 plus incidentals at the local shell/co-op place... paid by debit card and my account shows that i have been debited £2.70.......

now this means the garage have undercharged me and i didn't notice when i did my pin thing.... obviously hasn't put thru the petrol.... do you think they'll have my reg on file... i'm a bit worried as i go there all the time.....

i don't want to be black listed as a petrol nicker when i intended to pay for it, it's been their mistake obviously....

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I keep looking at the Race for Life website. It would be a very scary thing for me to enter for lots of reasons (runners out there think of your first marathon) and I reckon I could walk it if I stocked up with painkillers and muscle relaxants, but I've never done anything like that and I don't really know people to sponsor me (and I HATE asking for sponsorship). I also wouldn't have anyone there who I knew so it would be a bit of lonely experience, I can't see OH saying he'd be at the finish line.

There's one in May and one in June in Poole - all around the area I walk Charlie so it's familiar territory - but just further!
