Morning everyone. It's a lovely day here in Exeter
MrsM and myself are off for a lovely day out in the sun. Get a bit of a walk see some Dartmoor ponies and Visit her mums grave to lay some flowers as we are both working on Mothers Day this Sunday.
It's forecast sunny all day and it's going to be lovely.
Cheap day out too just a couple of gallons of petrol and a bunch of flowers.0 -
            Morning all.
Another lovely spring day here. Got first baby clinic today - all of 5 mins from my front door, after which I may go for a walk, depending on his majesty's mood...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

            Morning!
Got my docs appointment this evening re: bad shin but I'm determined its nothing serious - at least the sun is shining and I'm planning other ways to keep fit if running is out for a while
Have a good day everyone!0 -
Morning all.. having a bit of a wobble on the positive thinking - some cr*p at work yesterday, and an email from someone from my past today with some news that made me a bit sad.. but anyway, got afternoon off tomorrow, me and Grey having a day out/ night in
And I've just organised a girly weekend with my mum halfway between Mother's Day and her birthday which I'm looking forward too
And it's still sunny....

Well in trying to be positive, I've just been looking at the challenges I've signed up to this year and I'm not doing too bad! My best one at the moment is the money neutral gifts challenge. Am doing really well with mystery shopping, inc. one this week where I had to pretend to be a business customer wanting to start my own business, so I made up I wanted to be a wedding planner. However, during the 'shop' I was being so convincing, I was thinking what a good idea being a planner would be!! But the earnings are keeping things nicely balanced there!
But here's the thing: a few weeks ago Amazon c*cked right up and they charged my credit card rather than using gift certs. After much tooing and frowing the card has been refunded, but they've not deducted the gift certs, so £58 is sat there. NOw I really don't want to presume the best and start spending, but that money would sort out quite a few gifts! It' been just over 2 weeks since the money was refunded, so in reality and so not to draw attention to the situation, how long should I leave it before using the the cert money? And if I'm found out, what reason could I give?!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

maybe assume that if they wrongly charge you, they have a refund and your items free policy like Tesco used to have....?
Make sure you have no cards on file for them to use if/when they do realise though hun!
I think 2 weeks is long enough to wait.. try it and see if you can get it to go thru the check out....! does that make me dishonest!? sorry!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
