to ask someone who has quoted for a new combi boiler to ask him if I can view one of his previous installations?

    If you've been burnt before, why not. Im sure its ok to ask for references. Give it a go, he can only say no :)
    I know my spelling is shocking :eek: It is alot better than it used to be though :rotfl:

    I don't see why not.

    Any good tradesman shouldn't have anything to hide from you, so if he says no, look elsewhere.

    Has this person come recommended to you? Or have you plucked him out of the pages that are yellow?
