Empire 32.5% off + free gift

i ordered stuff from empire stores using the code for 25 pound off a 50 pound spend though empire have removed my code and charged full price. they advertise on handbag. com the code for the discount does anyone know where i stand on this?

empire stores have told me that handbag.com did not have permission to advertise the code, therefore anyone using that code it wont be honoured.
empire said that they did not put this code on handbag.com
anyone used it ? did it go thru?
i will not waste my time with this company again they are complete wasters.
also i ordered a cd player that they had on sale, they told me that it was sold out. i then find it on another page priced more and with a different item number.
theyre not getting another sell out of me.

guys, just give them a quick call and they'll sort it for you. they did for me with no questions asked, and were very helpful.

i used the 25 off 50 code, it showed discounted price on order confirmation page and email confirmation page, but they charged full price. i phoned to query it and she said i hadn't quite spent enough to use the code (total was 51.50, but apparently without p+p it is less than 50 or something like that, i didnt really understand cuz i thought p+p was free!?!) but she said she'd send me a cheque for 25quid anyway.

will let you know when i receive it, im fairly sure she was serious about it.

i gave them another call they repeated the same i was not going to get the discount. They also repeated that they did not put this code on handbag.com. anyone else had this problem?

Guess they are not telling the truth :-/ I have used it along with many other people with no problems, sorry it hasn't worked all I can say is keep going until they either get annoyed with you or you get a helpful person

thats a !!!!!! :P I spoke to a woman called Alison and she was very helpful. Received the cheque today. Well pleased £150 worth of clothes for 25quid

did they ask you where you got the code from?

i rung again today they told me to email them cos they are short staffed, theres no point in that cos they havent replied to the other emails ive sent.
