I mean here's a guy who can perform miracles in feed huge gatherings on a couple of loaves fish and a wine botle that never empties, and yet now he only has enough for a BigMac?
It's what happens if you live above your means. He should put together an SoA and He really needs to can the Sky+ subscription and get a cheaper mobile phone.0 -
If you took the $1 trillion and shared it equally between the estimated number of ants on the planet they would each get 0.5 cents.
However, if you divided the same $1 trillion between the estimated number of fish in the oceans, they would each get 28 cents.
Does that help any?
I really need to go to bed.0 -
The big question is - is this really going to work? I have my doubts but or those in NE or without jobs, I hope so!30th June 2021 completely debt free…. Downsized, reduced working hours and living the dream.0

It won't work. It'll either be wholly ineffective or produce high rates of inflation.
I am confident in saying that as those have always been the outcomes of QE in the past.0 -

if you are an ant a nickle is probably quite a big deal I guess. especially as they have social communal housing. But they all have to give it to the queen I guess, so there must be some well off ants out there.
Fish? well, fish are obviously superior to ants. ants do all the work for a nickle while the better payed fish lounge by the beach, so to speak. Lucky them.0 -

If Jesus had been given a trillion pounds and there was no interest on it... and if he had spent £1500 a day - EVERY DAY - without fail from then to now (he has to be immortal in my story) ... then right about now he'd have just enough for a Big Mac.
My other problem with this is that Jesus can only find £1500 orth of need everyday? TBH, I think he's a bit blind to peoples needs.
Anyway, he'd not have the money....giving what is Caeser's unto Caeser and all that (crudley paraphrased I admit). It might be Italy's debt problems helped a bit though in that case0 -
