Cheap software

Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy software??

I need to buy Adobe InDesign, but cannot get a price under £330! (from an upgrade from PageMaker).

Many thanks.

    Hmmm, I might have found the wrong things, but try HERE and HERE ;)
    I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.
  • AFAIK, the upgrade price from a pervious version of indesign applies to any version since the very first version of InDesign. You can get cheap sealed and geniune full copies of indesign 2 and CS on ebay for around £100 for indesign CS i think i've seen. You can then get a retail upgrade to indesign CS2 for about £150 in stores and online if you wanted.

    There are actually two sorts of upgrade available: one from the original indesign and another from pagemaker. The cheapest I have now found from pagemaker is £309 inc VAT from Misco. Can anyone find it cheaper?!

    The ebay route is a thought, but could be a bit of a gamble!

    Edit: Now found it for £294 inc VAT at savastore

    Looks like this site is doing illegal copies of software. Check out a few of their terms (quote).......

    2.3. You cannot register the software with the manufacturer and updates are available not for all the products;
    2.4. You do not receive printed license documentation;
    2.5. You do not receive a copy of the software on a disk.

    Bad spelling on the site. Looks like illegal sales of software. You have to give all your card details (inc security code) then wait 24 hours to download the software..................

    I wouldn't touch this site with a bargepole!
