Private car park fine!!!!

Ill keep this as short as possible.
I received a parking ticket on the 20th December when I parked at Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village. I was not parked in a bay, however I parked in front of another car next to the curb. I was not obstructing traffic, nor were there any road markings stating that I could not park there. The reason I parked there was, I could not get a space and I have been going to Cheshire Oaks for years and there are always cars parked there.
I appealed against the ticket on the 23rd December (proof of postage) and have today received a letter dated the 17th March, saying my appeal has been unsuccessful.
They state on their ticket that you should allow 28days for a response, which they have clearly gone beyond. They also got the colour of my wrong and misspelt the make of vehicle, if they get any details wrong on the ticket this voids it straight away?
Any help regarding the above would be greatly appreciated!!!

Read the stickies on PPC's at the top. They almost never accept appeals as they can only exist if everyone pays them, to accept an appeal means lost cash.
Do not contact them again nor admit who was driving. They will send a few more letters which get scarier with coloured writing and paper. They then threaten with debt collectors, also an empty threat as DC can only ask for money, they cant give a CCJ or clamp your car, cat or mother-in-law. Soon after this they give up.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
There is no appeals process.
It's a private company. They're not going to turn away profit.
• do not pay
• do not contact them again
• ignore their letters
• they will give up and go away
You just have an unenforcable invoice. The whole thing is a scam.
This is the third Cheshire Oaks one I've read about this week. If you want to do something constructive, complain to the owners and tell them you will never shop there again.0
