Hi, Am looking at getting a career development loan for £8k (or as much as they will allow me) however, don't think I will actually need to use it, so once the interest free period ended (I'll be on a 2 year course) I would be paying the entire lump sum back, worst case scenario I will pay it back over a year.
What is the best way to save it to maximise interest? Any advice much appreciated please, I would be able to also make regular payments over the two years, in case that is a proviso on any accounts.
Thank you

Don't get the loan and let the funds be used by someone who actually needs it to develop their career?
