    No idea what it might be, but I just tend to throw random things like that in a casserole. Always seem to taste quite nice!

  • oohhhhhh......you beat me to it!!!! I was just reading this thread and thought it sounded like wet (or young) garlic!!! (only because I had some last year from my box scheme!) It's good in salads, used like spring onions.

    I was about to suggest spring garlic too!! They just had some on James Martins programme on tv. He visited a huuuuge garlic field in the Isle of White and the guy was talking about spring, summer and late garlic (though he said the spring stuff would be ready around May I think).
