It would seem that there is a very strong possibility that HSBC will announce their plans to close the Beneficial Finance branches in the uk next week. Does anyone know what the situation is for redundancy payments when an employee reduces their hours using a flexi working request....i.e is the calculation based on full time hours or current part time hours?

Hi there are these also grouped with HFC and Endeavour personal finance?

    Thanks.;)

  • As far as I am aware you would get paid based on the hours that you contractually do now, What makes you think they may Close ? ? ?

Redundancy pay is based on the salary in receipt at the time of the redundancy.
