Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. By entering, entrants accept these terms and conditions.
Entry is open only to residents in the United Kingdom over the age of 18. Entry via email only. Closing date 17 April 2009.
This promotion is not open to employees of Colgate-Palmolive (UK) Limited, its subsidiaries and any of the agencies or companies associated with this promotion, including their immediate families. The details you provide to us will be used to contact you if you are the lucky winner.
STA Travel will retain details if you choose to hear from them in future, but won’t pass on details to anybody else.
No purchase is necessary to enter into this promotion.
All entries after the closing date will be deemed invalid. Only one entry per person will be deemed as valid.
There is one major prize and no runner-up prizes to be won.
The major prize is a voucher to the value of £1,000 which is to be redeemed with STA Travel. The total value of the major prize is £1,000. The prize includes one personal booking folder with STA Travel. Your folder will be credited with £1,000 to spend on any of the following STA Travel products: Flights, insurance, accommodation, adventure trips, volunteering trips and all travel products.
Bookings are subject to availability.
Winners are responsible for ensuring they hold a current and valid passport and must be at least 18 years of age. Winners are responsible for arranging their own passports, visas (if necessary) and travel insurance (but this can be purchased at STA Travel with your prize money).
Travel is subject to availability. Prizes must be taken before 30 November 2009.
The prize will be drawn at random by an independent adjudicator on week commencing 23 March 2009. The Winners will be notified by 30 March 2009. If the winners fail to respond within 4 weeks of being contacted, then the Promoter shall be entitled to select an alternative winners and the winners who have not responded will not be entitled to a prize or any alternative.
All prizes, dates and flights are subject to availability. Any amendments made by the winners after the booking is confirmed will be subject to administration charges with the prize winner bearing the associated costs. Only the prizewinners will be notified.
The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
All prizes and details are correct as at time of print. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for airlines being withdrawn or amended. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value, or to alter details, if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
The names and counties of the winners will be made available for six weeks after the closing date to those enclosing a stamped, self-addressed envelope and applying to Colgate Max White Prize Draw Results, Cohn & Wolfe, Lynton House, 7-12 Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9LT.
The prize winner agrees to take part in any promotional and publicity activity at the Promoter's request and consent to its name, location and photograph being published for the purposes of this prize draw and promoting the Promoter and its business.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any lost, late, incomplete, or illegible entries or correspondence due to incorrect entrant information. Damaged or defaced entries will be disqualified.
The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend this Promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control.
The Promoter may require winners to provide proof of identity and proof of age. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed and performed in accordance with the laws of England, whose courts shall be the courts of exclusive jurisdiction.
