And I think there's a recipe in the Nigella Domestic Goddess book for biccies with them.
Or how about crushing then a bit and addind to cheese scones or breadsticks“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

PS don't do what my mum did when she was first married which is to wash them and then use them to top a sherry trifle - unless you want to become a family story for the next 40 years“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

They are really nice on ice cream - especially vanilla ice cream. We often crush 'em up a bit and sprinkle them over our Sundaes on Sunday.
We also put them into muffins and cookies - as long as you aren't using the bottom really salty bit it tastes fine. Or - we tip them into another container with raisins, mixed nuts and mini chocolate chips then shake to mix and put them in little boxes/baggies for lunch boxes. The salt is then spread more thinly through the whole collection - and weirdly salted chocolate chips are rather tasty0 -
I would have found this thread really useful if my son hadn't already solved the same problem for me.
He nicked them from under the coffee table last time he visited and took them home!0 -
I mix them with white rice, mandarin segments and spring onions for a cold salad. Sounds like an odd combination but it is really tasty.0
