could you put a chain across the drive?
youd only need a piece of chain & a couple of hooks, from somewhere like b&q0 -
The sticky paper is a good idea. Our workplace used to use this method as well. Pretty effective, and because you're not actually causing any damage to the vehicles there can be no comeback on you. I'm sure you must be able to buy the super-sticky stuff online easily enough.
As an aside, surely these people are trespassing ? Would it be worth popping into your local police station and having a friendly chat, see what your options are ? Maybe you could put up a notice politely asking people not to park, then if anyone does park on your drive, give the details to the police ? Must admit I'm not sure of the details on trespass law, but it won't hurt to have a chat with your local bobby and see where you stand.0 -
If you can fit gates in they are the best as they keep dogs out and offer more security
Otherwise either fold down or lift in/out (secured with key/padlock) bollards will do the job. The chain idea will also work but to me they look a bit horrid when stretched accross.0
