Best Basic Ban Account option

I wondered if anybody out there could advise?
I am currently having all sorts of debt induced financial problems and am trying as best I can to sort them out. I have also got a bank charge claim in with my current bank (LloydsTSB). The problem is that they seem to be increasingly unhelpful at the moment and any small advance I make seems to get cancelled out by their actions.
I think I should set up a separate basic account for us to use and just pay off the amounts I owe to Lloyds as agreed with them.
Can anyone recommend a good account, I know I can't be too choosy but one with internet options and a debit/cashpoint card would be good
thanks everyone
