Sold property price checker

A colleague has asked to find out some prices for apartments (new build) since April 2008 until as up to date as possible. I need to find both sold and current prices. Plus any movements. I know there will not be heaps of info - but any trends etc will help.

What websites do people suggest?

Thanks in advance

    houseprices.com for sold prices.

local agents websites or rightmove / propertyfinder for current prices.

I don't need to tell you ;)that any sold prices you find could include buyer incentives/ gifted deposits and other inflationary slight of hand.

    Hit return too soon.

Property bee for movements while on the market. You need firefox to run this.

You may find that the sold prices haven't hit the house price websites. Sometimes they don't get recorded as there is no matched sale and purchase. In which case you will need to use the land registry site and download the title deeds for £3 a property.
