Item not as listed

I bought a handbag that was listed as a specific make but it has arrived and it isn't. Now the item is the one shown in the photo but I wouldn't have bid had I not thought it was the specific make.

I have emailed the seller and she is apologetic, but is asking me what I want to do. She is a new ebayer so I do not want to give her bad feedback, but what do you think should happen. The bag was £30 and another £5.50 postage. It is an OK bag but probably not worth what I paid as the brand name had a lot to do with it.

Tell her you will be returning it for a full refund of your £35.50 and then it return it tracked.

From what you've said above, I would tell her you wish to return it and for her to give you a refund. Really, she *should* refund your postage cost too, because she made a mistake, but I don't know whether you can insist on this.

    Good luck.

Did she specifically say on the sale page that it WAS this specific brand?

Perhaps find out what the one you bought is worth, and ask for a partial refund to this value. If seller won't agree to this, then return it for a full refund with an "item not as described" dispute.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

If you like the bag and are happy to keep it I would ask for a partial refund.

Without the 'brand name' it would not have sold for what it did. I think the seller and I will be agreeing to a full refund and I will return it.
