  • After reading this, I made a purchase of one of these units. Also very impressed with the recording quality, for the price of the unit. Been after a DVD player for a while, so finding one so cheap that records also is great!.

Can you play what you record, on a DVD player in a PC? I tried but the movies etc all come out in black and white and all fuzzy?? ???
  • I have tested back-up from my Yamada DVD Player to the Mico and although I only tried about 5 mins worth of 'The Two Towers', it appeared to work OK.

I was surprised, as the Macrovision should prevent this.

  • I have the Liteon bought from Argos recently and just last night I copied a recording I had made using the Liteon of the Bank Aid programme shown on Chanel 4 recently. I used the dvd rw that came with the Liteon, didn't finalise it, it played fine through Interactual Player on my pc so I then copied it via DVD Decrypter on the pc to a dvd-r disc.

I could then erase the programme from the dvd rw disc and the copy played back on both the pc and the Liteon. Hope this helps with the Mico.

Oh and to the poster who had problems with the TV sticking on the channel he was recording from, I had the same with the Phillips. Obivously now I read I had it set up wrongly :D
