COLD FEET - Wedding Insurance

I'm the Brides father and will be paying for my daughters wedding next year.
I've been searching for "cold feet / change of mind / heart" cover but I have not found any UK companys that do this. Only a US company 'Firemans Fund' provides this cover (from what I can find), but I am waiting for a reply to see if they will provide cover for a UK wedding, I doubt they will, but you never know!.
Anyone any ideas of a UK / EU company?

Hi, hopefully you don't feel the need for this level of cover is too great for the happy couple!
I have always understood that the "risk" you want to insure will typicaly be univeraly excluded. There is too high a risk to the insurer of moral hazard and fraud. It is at best extreamly difficult if not impossible to prove that the wedding would be called of for a genuine change of mind. Cover is usualy only there for circumstances beyond your control, and a change of mind would be regarded as within one of the party's control.
I am surprised Firemans Fund cover it completely if at all.
I doubt that firemans fund are authorised to issue policies, at least for retail cusotmers, in the UK or the EU, and even less likely to want to write a wedding here for a UK resident/couple, but it would be be interesting if they say yes! What they may well cover is a US couple who are getting married overseas, including the UK.
Firemans Fund is a very large US general insurance company owned by Allianz SE. Allianz have a wholely owned subsidiary in the Uk www.allianz.co.uk who sell wedding insurance its self, e.g: http://www.weddingsurance.co.uk/. They do state that the exclude change of mind though.0 -
