Just recieved red letter demanding £350 for gas and electric. We simply cant pay that till end of month. I could pay only half of it.
What do I do?
Will they cut us off? Will they send another red bill?

Our energy supplier is Npower. I hope youre right. Hoping they will wait till end of month as thats why DH gets paid. I have been paid today but I have to pay other bills and get food shopping with it. I never seem to have any money at moment.SAVING FOR OUR FIRST HOUSE DEPOSIT

Is the bill estimated?
I give my supplier a reading and that generates a new bill. Possible delaying tack tick.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

Set up direct debit payments, that way you will never have a big bill to pay - especially if your budget is tight.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

The best thing to do is phone the company and explain that you can't pay it all straight away but that you are willing to make weekly payments until you are able to clear the rest. It is better to be up front with companies such as gas, elec and water etc than just not pay. Hope you manage to get it sorted.Credit Card Debt

Or put that amount of money away monthly in your own account so you can pay the bills as they come in.
