93.5% unemployed during a recession.... things aren't that bad then.

    Spain has 14% unemployment.

I would suggest only 6.5% employed to be catastrophic.

    Just a headline figure story.

How about 93.5% employed, 6.5% unemployed,

Sure you aren't after a job in Number 10? "What's more boss most of the recent job losses aren't in Labour constituencies either, sorted."

I reckon as a rule of thumb, unemployment over about 8% and rising is pretty bad - if you're laid off you'll be unlikely to find something else quickly in the private sector unless you get lucky or have specialised skills which are still in demand.

Over 10% is the start of catastrophic. French unemployment has been around that level for years and it's terrible - it's very hard for a young French person to start a career as there's all this competition from trained, experienced people who don't have jobs.

Probably. I played two games of football last night and today I'm feeling very tired and very sore.

Worse, I promised to take the Generlissimos out this afternoon.

    It hurts.

Its ok, even you are allowed occasional mistakes. Its a 'mis type' it should have read 6% unemployed but read ''employed'' instead. :) Mr B was being clever. Which is nice for him, once in a while :);)

    Doh!

It's not even like we won the games. 1-0 and 1-1. Dodgy ref in the 2nd game too which was annoying.
